WHAT I THINK ABOUT PUBLIC SPEAKING

Before I take this course I often saw my senior doing some outdoor activity like give speech in front of people at outside of the class so at I said to myself that this course is challenging.

When it my time to take this course I realize that this course is good because it is not only improve my English but in the same time it built my confident to talk in front of the people. Maybe it is not a big problem for me but it is very good for my other friends because they are too shy to talk or give an opinion in front of the other people.

I think this course is important just like other core subject because it is not only memorizing and answering the question but it is how you going to apply it. As we know many of fresh graduates hard to find a job even though they have a good result. That is because they have lack skills to speak in front of the people.

I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to take this subject because I can use all the experience and knowledge in the future or when I am applying job or when I am working. This course has to be a major subject because it is so useful and important in the future.

MEMORY IN PUBLIC SPEAKING

 This semester I am taking public speaking subject. There a dozen of memories l had all along while taking this subject.

I still cannot forget the first task we have to do a collage. Honestly,I never heard about it before so it is quite hard for me to do it. After make some research so I understand about it. It is so fun where I can share about myself with my friends. I make my collage with paper plate and button and the result is so amazing and what makes me proud is where the other English lecturer takes my collage as example to show to her class.

Besides that, I still remember where I have to make a group discussion and discuss about one current issue and my group choose ‘Human Trafficking’ as our issue. It is quite tough issue because that issue is a global issue so that we have to discuss the effect, how to overcome that problem internally and internationally. That task makes me more alert about current issue and understand more about that problem.

The best memory I had is when I had been ask to collect one item in a box without see it. I had chosen a small cup and I have to talk about it. At that time I just explain about the cup spontaneously and I talk very fast because I am scared I will forgot what I want to said. Thank god all my beloved friends give positive feedback to my presentation and even now every time I saw a small cup I will remember that presentation.

All the memories I will kept in my heart and I also will use it as an experience in the future. All the memories while taking Public Speaking is a priceless.

MY DREAMS.

Everyone in this world has their own dreams and same do I. I have a lot of dreams that I want to achieve. Some of my dreams are impossible to achieve but I trust that there is nothing impossible in this world.

My first dream is I want to continue my degree in oversea like in Australia or United Kingdom. I know the chances is not really high but I keep says to myself that ‘When There Is A Will, There Is Always A Way’. So I need work hard to achieve my dreams.

My first dream after I work is I want to bring all my family members to Makah for hajj and also I want to bring them to go holiday around the world. I also want present my parents big house with maid so that they can just relax and enjoying their life without thinking about other problems. 

Besides that, I always dream that l can be Jason Statham girlfriend. I start admiring him after I watch Transporter 3. Even though he not really handsome but I just fell in love with him especially his body and his mouth. My friends always said that I am crazy but I don’t mind because I just crazy about him.

Furthermore I also dream that I am a millionaire so that I can go shopping and buy anything I want without worry about the price. My first destination of course to shop at Paris and Italy and I want to buy all expensive and branded handbags there because I am crazy with branded handbag.

I also dreams that I will drive red Ferrari one day. It will be amazing because maybe I will be the first Malay girl who drives Ferrari. I admire two seated Ferrari where I can open or close the roof whenever I want. I am sure I will attract a lot attention and I love it.

Lastly I want to have a lovely family and married with the person I love and spend my whole life with him and our future kids and live happily ever after.

CHALLENGING IN PERSUASIVE SPEECH.

It is a norm when you want to do some work or task there will be some challenges that you have to face. Same goes to me when my lecturer gives me a task to do a persuasive speech. There are two people in one group and my partner is Tengku Nurhana.

The first challenge is what product that we want promotes. We change the products about three times because it is limited sources to get. After having a long discussion, at last me and my partner to promote foot patch.

Second challenges that we have to face are we have to decorate all the packaging by using our own packaging. It is quite hard because I’m not very creative but with my partner help, at last we finish our own packaging.

Besides that, is how we going to persuade the audience to trust and buy our product. We make a lot of research in internet, from the dealer and also the user itself. After satisfy with all the information, we start doing the script.

Next challenges are how we going to show the testimony because the patch smells is so smelly and it looks so disgusting. At last we decide to pack it with two pieces of plastic so the smell is not spread all over the class.

That is all the challenges that I and my partner have to face all along to finish our persuasive speech. I believe, every problem have its solution.

PERSUASIVE SPEECH

One of my sweetest memories in this year where l had been given one task from my lecturer to do a persuasive speech. I had so much fun while doing it and I’m promoting foot patch. There are many groups in my class and we are two people in one group.

The best part is we always have a free sample from each group who made the presentation. Most of the group they presenting about food and for me the cutest name in ‘Koko Kida’ from Shajatul Suhaida and her partner Nor Akila.

Besides that, I also like ‘fresh flower’ group where the group member are Kasmawati and Nazihah. They sell fresh flower and their slide are so beautiful and they are so creative with their products. The best part all of us get a red and purple roses and my lecturer Madam Hartini get a bouquet of roses and she was so exciting.

All of us enjoy and very happy when doing the persuasive speech even though  at the beginning all of us are so worried of what product to be sell and how to make it more interesting but at last everything goes smoothly and all of us get priceless memories and experience .
